Lawful bases for processing
I only use your information where I have a lawful basis under UK GDPR:
- Contract: To fulfil courier bookings and provide services you have requested.
- Legitimate interests: To send business-to-business marketing communications to business contacts whose details are publicly available, and to improve my services. How I source business contacts
I obtain business contact details from publicly available sources, including company websites, online directories (such as Yell, Google Business, Companies House), and professional listings. I only contact business email addresses, not personal ones, and only where there is a genuine business reason to do so.
What data I hold for marketing

Lawful basis for marketing
For business-to-business marketing to contacts sourced from publicly available information, I rely on legitimate interests as my lawful basis under UK GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in promoting my courier services to businesses that may benefit from them. This processing is proportionate, relates only to business contact details, and does not override your rights. You can object at any time using any of the methods above.
For individuals who have previously used my courier services, I may also rely on the soft opt-in under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003, where the marketing relates to similar services and an easy opt-out is provided in every message.
